Children Of The Forest 2024

💗HELP KIDS + MEET LEWIS + GET A TAX DEDUCTION

"Your past and continued support of the Children of the Forest Education Fund has been so successful that we have extended the campaign. Your donations will now provide life changing education and ultimately citizenship to younger, stateless children through kindergarten, elementary and high school.

Let's keep this going! This means a great deal to me but much more to these kids. Potentially hundreds of children will be now given an opportunity through education that has previously never been in their grasp. It's something minimal we can do to change lives... to give back, and that's what makes it worthwhile. YOU can make a world of difference.” ~ Lewis Black

HELP KIDS, MEET LEWIS,
AND GET A TAX DEDUCTION

In 2015, Lewis Black was proud to help sponsor the first Children of the Forest Education Fund, with a goal of raising funds to cover the entire cost of helping 12 kids through four years of college. Thanks to YOUR generous donations, we met that goal.

Lewis is retiring from touring, so the 2024 tour will be his last! We hope to raise enough to cover the annual cost to operate the COF Young Children’s House (ages 3-12) and the COF Middle Age Boys and Girls House’s (ages 6-14). Both houses provide safe residences, health care, education, care workers, clothes, and legal assistance to start their path to legal status in Thailand, for these stateless children who have been abandoned, abused or orphaned on the Thai-Myanmar border.

TWO WAYS TO DONATE
100% of your donation goes to help these kids!

  1. 💗Donate $1,000:  You and your guest will MEET Lewis after the show! A MESSAGE FROM CHILDREN OF THE FOREST

We are respectfully reaching out to Lewis Black fans who have previously supported our essential work with stateless children and teenagers on the Thai-Myanmar border. With special thanks to Lewis Black himself for his continued support and for allowing Children of the Forest to benefit from the generosity of his loyal fan base.

The campaign that Lewis Black has kindly agreed to promote focuses on stateless children who have been abandoned, abused or orphaned. These children are assisted to an immediate place of safety at our foundation's  protection centre. Once there, essential care and counseling are provided. As the rehabilitation and reintegration process takes place, children are given access to education and daily activities to encourage healing and personal development.

We kindly request that you join us in our efforts to protect these children and create the opportunity of a safer, happier future. To learn about Children of the Forest’s many programs, please visit www.childrenoftheforest.org

    STUDENT SPOTLIGHTS
Just some of the kids your donation will help!

    Nong Nung & Tata

Tata: As the older brother, Tata had unpleasant memories of his mother’s deteriorating health due to untreated HIV. COF staff provided and continue to provide counseling and support, COF older children also have helped greatly by involving Tata in fun games and activities. Now after almost 7 years at COF Tata is a confident 11 year who attends a local independent Thai school.

Nong Nung: Unlike her brother, Tata, Nong Nung had no unpleasant memories of her mothers passing when she joined COF Infants Home as a young baby in 2014. She is now 8 years old and attends Grade 1 of a local Thai independent school. Nong Nung is a very bright confident girl who enjoys school very much. She has many friends both at school and at COF. Because of her personality, we are confident that she will achieve whatever she sets her mind to.

Children of the Forest is a 501(c)3 non profit organization. We are a small group of volunteers who donate their time and energies in support of Children of the Forest in Thailand. 100% of your donation goes directly to the services and protection of the children.
