#GivingTuesday

#GivingTuesday. One would think it would come before Black Friday and Cyber Monday but that would make sense. So let us all do what we can do at this time when no one in Washington seems to realize folks are suffering and in need.

Give to the charities you care about. A check to your local Food Bank is vital as so many suffer now from Food Insecurity; whoever thought we'd be hearing those words on a daily basis in our Country. (ARE YOU LISTENING WASHINGTON!!!!! IS ANYBODY HOME!!!!!)

If this helps, here are the charities I'll be sending checks to: The Fifty Second Street Project, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The Michael J. Fox Foundation, various charities benefiting autism awareness and research, Children Of The Forest, groups that help our Veterans and those in the Military, the Kurt Vonnegut Museum & Library and the National Comedy Center. If you are wondering if a charity is really being charitable, check charitynavigator.org.

Please take a moment out of your day and give whatever you can because it all helps. You'll feel better. Thanks for all you do.

And now you'll be ready for SHOPLIKEAMANIAC WEDNESDAY.
